A prequel to Dying Hard on Hardlight Station, use it to build suspense for your ongoing adventures or as a one-shot rife with alien mystery and subterranean terror. Inside you’ll find everything you need to dive into horror’s heart including:

  • Fully keyed custom location map with 10 unique locations.
  • Full-colour interior with original art by Vil and professional layout by Eric K. Hill.
  • A living alien environment that responds to the actions of your PCs.
  • Unique monsters, strange visions, bio-plastic artifacts, walls coursing with alien “lifeblood” and much more!

Dying Hard on Hardlight Station

In Dying Hard on Hardlight Station, your team of grizzled PCs will be torn between saving friends locked in the Healthtek facility or crawling to freedom in the vents of the corporate-controlled Hardlight Station, all while avoiding capture by the brutal Blackshield Mercenary Company. However, unbeknownst to all, Blackshield’s invasion has caused the containment protocols at the Healthtek facility to malfunction. Now, in the bowels of the station, something horrible has awoken, and, after a long, torturous sleep, hungers to feed.

Dying Hard on Hardlight Station is a 28-page, full-colour adventure zine designed to work as a one-shot, mini-series, or as a part of your ongoing Mothership (or any other Sci-Fi RPG) campaign. Its control panel layout is table-ready and packed with efficient, evocative details big on imagination and light on overlong prose; each page is stuffed with unique locations, scheming NPCs, and terrifying horrors on the hunt. A night on Hardlight Station is one you won’t soon forget.

Suitable for characters of all levels, test your nerves today in The Horror on Tau Sigma 7.

Sci-fi mayhem and a horde of haunting horrors await in the pages of Dying Hard on Hardlight Station, including:

  • Four Station Locations - Mapped out and loaded with loot tables, adventure hooks, custom encounters, and interesting NPCs.
  • Three Original Factions - The Blackshield Mercenary Company, Station Administration Nakatomi Solutions Inc, and Healthtek AG with their ravening Alien Hybrids. Each vying to come out on top in the battle for the station.
  • The Hardlight Station Gazetteer - a guidebook filled with shops, entertainments, NPCs and jobs for your crew... should anyone survive the initial adventure.
  • Custom Art and Professional Design - bringing the whole adventure alive in glorious red, black, and white.

decrypted/the.nakatomi.papers

This collection of documents details the lives and secrets of many key figures on Hardlight Station and the larger Nakatomi corporation. They were gathered from a variety of private and public sources and compiled by the brave technicians here at decrypted. The documents herein unequivocally expose the corruption that infects this place, our home, Hardlight Station. And so too does it show the life that pumps through the station’s corridors despite the tyranny of our corporate overlords. Though we, the technicians of decrypted, remain anonymous, here we give a face to those silenced and lost in the grinding gears of the corporate machine that puts people before profit time and time again. Though we remain hidden, our lives at risk for every piece of information published herein, through this collection we desire to expose the rot creeping through this system and thereby destroy it.

The Cleaning of Prison Station Echo

In The Cleaning of Prison Station Echo, PCs are nighttime janitorial staff brought in to clean a corporate-run, high-security prison. Their shift goes wrong when an accident in the hidden basement lab releases a rampaging horde of hallucinating test subjects from XeroCorp’s top-secret Super Soldier program. Trapped in lockdown, with all access to the outside world cut, PCs must navigate the chaos of crooked guards and desperate inmates. If they don’t solve the mystery hidden within the isolated prison moon quickly, the real “cleaners'' will erase all traces of their existence.

The Cleaning of Prison Station Echo is a 52-page, full-colour adventure and sandbox for the sci-fi horror RPG Mothership. Professionally laid out by Mothership designer extraordinaire Eric Hill and edited by Matthew K, the zine is chock full of adventure hooks, unique items, and a huge cast of scheming NPCs. The adventure is brought to life through the glorious psychedelic line art of Evlyn Moreau and fantastic maps by Guy Pradel.

The Cleaning of Prison Station Echo includes:

  • Hand-drawn maps of Prison Station Echo and the secret lab below by Guy Pradel.
  • 24 unique locations to carefully clean, explore, and take cover in.
  • 17 unique NPCs including remorseless corporate hatchetman Major Jeborah Bradley, the lovable but malfunctioning station AI “Echo”, and everyone’s favourite shiftless head janitor, Jacob.
  • A bespoke panic table with 20 psychedelic X187 hallucinations for your PCs to suffer.
  • Ad-hoc prison weapons, delectable bathtub booze, and jury-rigged escape apparatuses. Knives made out of carved soap and wood shavings? You better believe they got those in PS Echo.
  • Psychedelic, adorable, and terrifying original art, NPC portraits, and interior illustrations by Mothership alum, Evlyn Moreau.
  • A ticking clock counting the seconds till the real cleaning crew arrives… and these ones aren’t carrying buckets and mops.
